On another red carpet about 3,000 miles away from the People's Choice Awards, the ladies of HBO's Girls stepped out in NYC to celebrate the season two premiere. (For fellow fanatics, it comes back this Monday, 8.30 Showtime) But it wasn't just Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet, and Jemima Kirke making stylish waves — although we'll get to that in a minute — it seems as if much of the fashion industry and downtown cool-girl set were in attendance as well. On the short list: Solange Knowles went bold in a printed Just Cavalli Pre-Fall 2013 suit, Zoë Kravitz dressed in darker laid-back layers, Lily Kwong went two-tone in a peplum top and trousers, and Nicky Hilton opted for a leggier look via one pleated, flared black leather skirt. As for the show's main foursome? We loved how they effortlessly showed off their unique style. With Zosia in a black-and-white ruffled mini, Allison in a gilded Altuzarra top and skirt, Lena in a black Valentino jumpsuit, and Jemima in a flowy black maxi dress, it wasn't hard to see how each actress embodies and differs from their on-screen persona.
