What a week! We kicked things off with a clean-eating cooking lesson with two charming Bondi chefs, checked out Beyonce's stage costumes on a backstage tour, took in all the Spring Racing Carnival action and, today, interviewed the lovely Lara Bingle at the launch of her swimwear range. In-between all that, we consumed copious amounts of naughty food (but chocolate strawberries are kind of healthy, right?), tested out new beauty products, checked out loved-up couple Liz Hurley and Shane Warne at a Sydney event. . . And plenty more! Click through now to check out all the action, and don't forget to follow us on Instagram for all things celebrity, fashion and beauty!
It's been a tumultuous few months for engaged pair Shane Warne and Liz Hurley but, today in Sydney, the couple looked anything but unstable. In town to launch her new gig as the face of Aussie label Queenspark, Liz was the star of the show when she and Shane appeared at the Park Hyatt at the Rocks. Shane couldn't have looked more proud — he was clapping and cheering loudly for Liz, and the pair couldn't keep their hands off each other. One notable absentee from the gathering? Liz's sapphire and diamond enagement ring. While Shane rubbished split rumours a couple of months ago, Liz's bare hand at the time sent the media into overdrive. As we know, though, a picture tells a thousand words — today's snaps show that Liz and Shane are more in love, and doing better, than ever. Click through to see all the pictures!
Shane Warne and Elizabeth Hurley have both taken to their Twitter accounts to make social media statements about their relationship status. Over the past week there have been reports that the couple have split, but according to Shane’s tweet from last night, media reports are “absolute rubbish.” He admitted that he and Elizabeth are “sorting through some (private) issues” but are “not throwing the towel in yet.”
Some of the reports re EH & me r absolute rubbish. Yes we're sorting through some (private) issues. But we're not throwing the towel in yet
— Shane Warne (@warne888) September 18, 2013
Elizabeth’s tweet, which came about 30 minutes before Shane’s, was a little more cryptic. She thanked fans for respecting her silence on Twitter and said what she’s currently going through is “too raw & personal to share right now.”
Apologies to loyal followers for Twitter silence on recent events. Too raw & personal to share right now.
Speculation came about because Elizabeth had been spotted recently without her blue sapphire engagement ring, while other reports said Shane was spending a lot of time with his ex-wife Simone Callahan, who’s the mother of his three children. Splitting time between Australia and UK is apparently another issue. Shane and Elizabeth got engaged in October 2011 after first being linked in December 2010.
Kate Hudson wore Ann Taylor and brought Matthew Bellamy with her to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's annual Hot Pink Party in NYC last night. The couple was joined at the charity bash by a Blumarine-wearing Elizabeth Hurley and Elton John, as well as fashion designers Michael Kors, Vera Wang, and Donna Karan. Kate was doing more than just walking the pink carpet; she also presented an award to Kay Krill, the CEO of ANN Inc., the parent company for Ann Taylor, where Kate serves as a brand ambassador.
Kate has been keeping busy in the Big Apple. She is currently promoting her new film, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, which will screen at the Tribeca Film Festival next week. Despite Kate's work duties, she and Matthew did manage to squeeze in time with their boys in the city ahead of their gala date.
Last night's Pikolinos Gala Dinner at the UN drew out supporter Olivia Palermo and her signature eclectic glamour. Meanwhile, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation's annual Hot Pink Party supplied a lesson in evening elegance, courtesy of NY style crew Tory Burch, Kate Hudson, and Elizabeth Hurley. The 2013 Australian Open came to an end last night after an exciting two weeks of tennis at Melbourne Park. The tournament wrapped up with the men’s final between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, with the Serbian world no. 1 claiming the victory over his opponent. Over the past fortnight we’ve also spotted plenty of Australian and international celebrities watching the matches from VIP boxes. Female world no. 1 Victoria Azarenka, who won the women’s final on Saturday night, had a great view of the men’s match last night and sat with her boyfriend, ex-LMFAO musician Stefan "Redfoo" Gordy, who’s been one of her strongest supporters and attended all her games. US actor Kevin Spacey has been a keen spectator at most of Andy Murray’s matches because he’s a big fan of the Scottish player, while other stars who have taken in the tennis include Lara Bingle, Dannii Minogue, Manu Feildel and Andy Lee. Click through to see who else was at the Australian Open!
While most of celeb-land has been fairly quiet over the Christmas holidays (save for a baby announcement and some cool New Year's Eve celebrations), one place that's never silent is Twitter. While we've been taking a break, all our favourite celebrities have been as active on the social-media front as ever, tweeting well-wishes, funny thoughts, astute observations and anything else that comes to mind. Actress Lucy Hale takes issue with some modern technology features she doesn't appreciate, Andy Lee comes up with a uniquely Aussie new concept and Erin McNaught knows the solution to any problem . . . But that's not all — there's much more to read, so click through to check it out!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time when women around the globe get together to stand up for the cause — including our favourite A-listers! Stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Beyoncé and Kate Bosworth have taken the stage, put on their sneakers for charity walks, and partied in pink.
You can get involved, too, whether it's by hosting a Pink Ribbon breakfast, attending events that raise awareness for the cause or by donating to organisations. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, click through the pics of top celebs showing their support.
We're taking one last style-focused look at Milan Fashion Week's front-row set and after-party whimsy, as the fashion crowd heads to Paris. These impossibly chic industry insiders, along with some classic stunners (hello, Charlotte Casiraghi!), never shied away from donning a mashup of quirky and sophisticated ensembles as they bounced from show to show — not to mention, from one party to the next. Between amfAR's fete and W's dance party, we were treated to a mix of elegant evening dresses and more colourful fare from the likes of Dree Hemingway and Solange Knowles. See what outfits caught our eye (front row and center), plus an arsenal of awe-inspiring Anna Dello Russo looks, when you keep clicking.
