British beauty Cara Delevingne is the latest It-girl to front a DKNY campaign, with the bushy-browed model spotted being snapped in the streets of New York City for the iconic brand. Dressed in a bright and simple fit-and-flare frock (and matchy colour-pop pumps!), Cara was caught posing on top of an equally colourful car in Times Square, smiling with her phone and a DKNY designer bag.
Earlier in the month, we caught Rita Ora fronting a similar shoot for DKNY, which DKNY announced with the tweet, "So guess who we're shooting tomorrow for the #DKNY Resort ad campaign?! Ok, I'll tell you, @RitaOra!! I'll be on set. Stay tuned for pics." We chronicled all the action with shots and videos that give a sneak peek at the campaign as it happened (hello, brightly hued Rita atop a taxi cab!).
No need to wait for the official campaign. We've got what you want to see right here.
We spotted Rita Ora shooting the campaign for DKNY's Resort 2014 collection in New York's Times Square this July, and pictures from it are finally here. The images, just released today, were shot by the talented fashion photographer Lachlan Bailey, and feature all the hallmarks of the brand's campaigns. In this one, Ora is seen sitting in and on top of a New York City taxi cab. Of course, this isn't the only time Ora has worked with DKNY. She also closed the brand's Spring 2014 show with a surprise performance and sang again at its raucous afterparty. These images are just another stunning addition to a partnership we can't get enough of.

It's DKNY's 25th anniversary, but the brand is looking fresher than ever. With "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" playing, models hit the runway in overalls, baseball caps, anoraks, and sneakers — definitely a nod to the brand's more urban look in its genesis era. A sports influence continued into neoprene skater dresses with sexy cut-out backs, while evening offered up a new version of the "naked dress," bias gowns with sheer straps that seemed to hover on the body. And if the clothes weren't enough to get the capacity crowd hyped, the new face of DKNY, Rita Ora, hit the runway for a lap before the finale. Now, what does Donna Karan have up her chic sleeve for the much-anticipated anniversary bash this week? We can't wait to see — too bad we don't have one of those little dresses to wear.
Thank heavens for the international Autumn/Winter round of ad campaigns giving us a glimpse into next season. Whether they're the theatrical scenes from Dolce & Gabbana, whose brooding and distressed models are clad in decadently embellished crowns and gowns, or the bombastic and graphic images from Tom Ford's pumped up Fall line, there's an overwhelming feeling that the international A/W '13 will reinvent the word excitement. Even the quieter images capture a sense of intrigue — like Cara Delevingne's curious campaign for Mulberry (her co-star is an owl) and her appearance in Saint Laurent's campaign, where her seaward gaze can only be described as wistful, keeping us pointed to the cooler months at hand. Last Monday we explored the classic appeal of the pea coat, but if you're not the polished type a tailored wool topper might feel a little, well, stuffy. Which is why we're equally in favour of the humble army jacket — aka, the anorak. Combat cold weather with a utilitarian coat that, like your trusty denim jacket, will magically work with any ensemble. Throw it over a flirty floral dress to counter the girly-factor, wear it with leather skinnies to keep things casual, or rug up with woollen layers — any way you wear this hard-working topper you're going to benefit from it's no-fuss appeal. Step inside to shop our top ten picks.
So, mum isn't the frill-adorned floral-print wearing type? Then the usual patchwork/hand-crafted/Etsy-found Mother's Day options may not work come Sunday 12. Not to worry! We've put our discerning eye to work and found ten elegant options for the minimalist mum. From designer bag hooks to classic clutches, modern knits to keep-forever timepieces, there's bound to be something to delight inside. . .
Cara Delevingne stole our hearts with her playful personality and gorgeous eyebrows, and we're not the only ones who are captivated by this British model. Chanel, Burberry, and DKNY have all selected her to front their big ad campaigns — and we spotted Cara on the streets of NYC shooting another round for DKNY. Watch today's Fashion Flash for the scoop!
