Marion Cotillard donned a strapless Vivienne Westwood gown to join Colin Firth at the Chopard lunch as part of the festivities for the Cannes Film Festival last night. Marion and Colin celebrated the jewellery brand, which is responsible for creating the festival's Palme d'Or trophy, as well as best actor and actress awards. The celebratory lunch comes at an interesting time for the brand since it was revealed that $1 million worth of Chopard jewels were stolen from a hotel room in Cannes earlier yesterday. The jewellery was to be loaned as red carpet pieces to the stars at the festival. Many drew comparisons between last night's burglary and the film, The Bling Ring, which coincidentally debuted at the festival yesterday, since the movie is based on the real-life case of teenage burglars who robbed the Hollywood homes of celebrities.

The Dubai International Film Festival held this year's Oxfam charity gala on Friday night with major Hollywood names like Rooney Mara, Freida Pinto, Kristin Davis, Colin Firth, and his lovely wife, Livia, all stepping out in their finest formal attire. Rooney stuck with her signature slicked-back locks and opted for a sheer and shimmery look from Calvin Klein. Freida chose a vintage red gown from Valentino, while Kristin kicked up her heels in vintage Dior. The celebration is a reunion of sorts for Colin and Rooney, two of last year's award season favorites. Rooney earned her first-ever nomination for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and Colin took home the Academy Award for best actor for his role in The King's Speech. He'll likely return to the Oscars this year as it's traditional for the previous winners to take part in the show. Cameron Diaz, dressed in a sexy black and white design from Stella McCartney, hit the red carpet at last night's London premiere of Gambit. Prior to the screening, she met up with co-stars Colin Firth, Alan Rickman and Tom Courtenay to pose for photos. Cameron's been making the press rounds on behalf of the film in recent days and even landed the December cover of Elle UK. She opened up to the publication about her career, sex, and her forthcoming health and fitness book. Colin Firth and Emily Blunt teamed up to premiere Arthur Newman at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday night. Emily stuck around the Canadian city after supporting her friend Ben Affleck at his TIFF premiere of Argo on Friday with her husband, John Krasinski, Ben's wife, Jennifer Garner; and their mutual pals Matt and Luciana Damon. For Monday's big event, Emily paired Graziela earrings with a dress customised by Colin's wife Livia's Green Carpet Challenge. The white frock is an older number from Tory Burch, updated and made new again for Emily's big evening. Colin Firth and his wife Livia teamed up with Anna Zegna, of Ermenegildo Zegna, to host a dinner at LA's Chateau Marmont last night. The evening was organised in support of Oxfam and the Green Carpet Challenge, a cause close to eco-friendly Livia's heart. She frequently blogs and tweets about wearing recycled ensembles on the red carpet, and yesterday's dress was a creation from one of Kate Middleton's favourite lines, Beulah London.

Livia and Colin made the rounds to chat up their fellow Brit Emily Blunt and her husband John Krasinski. The Vanity Fair crew was well represented with editor in chief Graydon Carter and his wife Anna on hand, in addition to West Coast editor Krista Smith and publisher Edward Menicheschi. London's Royal Opera House was buzzing with stars as the BAFTA Awards kicked off today. Brad Pitt popped up on the UK red carpet after attending the Berlin Film Festival premiere of In the Land of Blood and Honey with Angelina Jolie last night. He's up for best actor, as is his pal George Clooney, who mingled with Colin Firth and his wife Livia Giuggioli on their way into the show. Presenter Penélope Cruz got glamorous in red while nominees Michelle Williams, Jessica Chastain, Viola Davis and Meryl Streep followed suit in gorgeous gowns. Michael Fassbender was back in front of the cameras following a win at yesterday's Irish Film and Television Awards in Dublin. Other guys to suit up for the event included Jon Hamm, Jonah Hill, Gary Oldman and Jean Dujardin. Chris Hemsworth, who is up for the rising star award, also went with black tie and posed alongside his pregnant wife Elsa Pataky.

Brad, who wore a coat by Dolce & Gabbana over his tuxedo, didn't end up taking home BAFTA gold, since The Artist's Jean Dujardin was declared best actor. Meryl Streep added to her trophy collection with a best actress accolade for The Iron Lady. Octavia Spencer from The Help won best supporting actress, and the corresponding male honour went to Christopher Plummer for Beginners. The Artist also won best picture and best director. Whether they won or lost, many celebs were in a happy mood following the show. Meryl, Octavia, Chris, Elsa and more went to the official after party, and the Weinstein Company hosted another of their famous bashes.

NBC hosted a post-Golden Globes bash last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA. Best supporting actor winner Christopher Plummer made the rounds with his newly-acquired statue, and he said hello to last year's best actor champ, Colin Firth. Colin kept close to his wife Livia, who's known for wearing green fashions on the red carpet. Yesterday, Livia was decked out in a dress made of recycled plastic bottles that had been designed by Giorgio and Roberta Armani.

Mad Men buddies Jon Hamm and Elisabeth Moss said hi to NBC actor Jack McBrayer, who plays Kenneth the Page on 30 Rock. Fashion Star ladies Nicole Richie and Elle Macpherson also made the rounds at the network's party. Elle seems to have made some new friends, including Chuck's Zachary Levi!
