The Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala is one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year, and the Hollywood stars and designers who have hit the red carpet so far have definitely impressed with what they’re wearing. The theme for this year is “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations,” honouring two great Italian designers — co-chairs Anna Wintour and Carey Mulligan are both dressed in designs by Miuccia Prada. I think Emma Roberts is my favourite - I love the bold colour and the tailoring esp the love-heart bodice and the pairing of the dark blue belt and the dark blue earrings. I think its is very fresh, sophisticated and eye catching, and memorable without being as overt as a lot of the others.
